The emulsifier thing

This was about a challenge to prepare a "natural" coca butter based emulsion. Suitable for the winter time, this is a very rich and refatting emulsion base for feet care, hands & body care. The main ingredient in the oil phase is 25% cocoa butter, with squalane and tocopherol as additives.

Water phase consists of 20% neroli water, green tea organic extract, panthenol and Vegeluron® (Water /Aqua (&) Propanediol (plant based) (&) Tremella Fuciformis (Mushroom) Extract (&) Gluconolactone (&) Sodium Benzoate).

Dermosoft® GMCY, Dermofeel® PA-3 and Euxyl® K903 are used as the preservative system.

The only difference between the samples is in the emulsifier system which, as it is obvious from the pictures makes a big difference in texture, appearance and viscosity of the products.
