Clays are notoriously difficult to preserve, even with conventional preservatives, let alone natural or "non-preservative" preservatives.

Yet they are so helpful (and so IN) in hair and skin care.

This self-emulsifying and water-free oleogel allows the formulator to apply clays in a low-risk, preservative-free and easy to apply (for the end-user) cleanser or mask. The gel turns milky and emulsifies by adding water, leaving the skin with a silky, non-greasy and non-sticky after-feel.
